lol A+.

Do you have any pics of the navy raw silk in your back pocket, perchance? I'm completely on the fence about that tie. I'm wondering if it'll be as versatile/significantly different from my navy piccola grenadine, also from Vanda. Do you think it's warm-weather only?

Um so I have both the grenadine and the raw silk haha. The raw is great for odd jackets in my opinion. It has a great hand and I think the grenadine is a very dressy piece where the raw silk is a bit less dressy. Not to say I wouldn't wear either with a suit or no. I really like the navy raw for fall winter heavy sportcoats.

You may have just convinced me. So the navy raw silk wouldn't look out of place with a wool-cashmere or Harris Tweed SC?

Agreed that the grenadine is somewhat dressy, though honestly I just wear it anyway -- it's too irresistible.

EDIT: Perhaps I should mention that I already own the navy donegal that @Gerry Nelson shows off wonderfully up the thread

Beautiful. Always helps to see things IRL.

Indigo-brown check tie.

Love it. Would hit. If it wasn't for fear of (I am and will be) running into a Monkeyface-type conundrum, where no one at work wears ties with their CBD suits, whereas dark CBD suits are still expected...
