As others have said, giving the tie time between wearings (say, a week or more) helps. Instead of hanging, I roll most of my ties and store them in a set of drawers and I think that rolling helps to get rid of wrinkles, too.

You know. I used to roll all my ties. And then I read somewhere about hanging ties being better for wrinkles... frown.gif.
That was before I owned any vandas though. So maybe I should go back to that option.

Hanging is better for wrinkles IMO, the weight of the tie gets creases out better (like hanging trousers by the cuffs). This is also why un-tipped ties wrinkle and stay wrinkled for linger than self tipped ones. Fabric plays a part though of course, like jm said smooth drapier fabrics like printed silks fall out much easier.

@applky very nice sir. Any chance you can show and extreme close up of one of those ties so I can get a better look at the weave?

Cheers

Thanks!

This is the best my iPhone can do. You're probably better off zooming in on the hi-res photos on the Vanda site (click on their photos for a hi-res detail).

heya, I'm visiting Singapore later this week. Does Vanda hold stock in store or does it only do MTOs?

I believe they do have ready stocks. But their workshop is in a place that is out of town.

You should email them to confirm.
