A few wonderful things for sale. Prices include shipping in the US. Either PM me or just drop me a line via email at contact@putthison.com. Double-breasted suit by Tobias Tailors of Savile Row. Established in 1889 but now, I believe defunct. Flat front pants, double vents. Shoulder: 19.5" Chest: 48" (size 46) Sleeve: 24.5" Coat Length: 33" Pants waist: 41.5" Pants Inseam: 31.5" (3" to let) $440 -- Vintage Abercrombie & Fitch madras sportcoat. Based on the labeling, I think it's from late 50s or early 60s. About a size 43L. An absolutely amazing piece, and exceptionally wearable right now. Beautiful natural buttons. Shoulders 19.5" Chest 46" Sleeves 26" Length: 32.5" $170 -- -- Billy Reid cotton corduroy blazer. Measurements as above. Great details - belted back, bellows pockets. $160 -- Made in Scotland for Carrol & Co. shawl cardigan. Absolutely spectacular. Size 44. Carrol & Co. is the finest men's store in Southern California, and one of the best in the nation - they use Chester Barrie and C&J, among others, for store brand goods. Quality is as good as it gets on this sweater. SOLD -- Swaine Adeney Brigg shetland sweater. Approximately size medium, chest 42", should fit a size 38 or 40. SOLD -- W. Bill shetland sweater. Beautiful thing, look at the setting of the sleeves. A bit of pilling on this one, but a finer shetland you certainly will not find. Color's a bit warmer than it looks in the photo. Also a 42" chest on this one. SOLD -- Vintage shell cordovan Florsheim longwings. Some wear on the sole and heel (with original v-cleats!) but otherwise in beautiful shape, and I'll put some Venetian Shoe Cream on them before they get sent out to you. Uppers on these (as you can see) are just beautiful. I wish my pair were this nice, frankly. Size 10 1/2 B. SOLD -- Billy Reid sportcoat, skeleton lined, lightweight. Size 44L, but fits more like a 42-43L. (See further details below) Shoulders 18" Chest 45" Sleeves 26" Length 30" SOLD

The shetlands are sold. Shawl collar cardigan remains. It is beautiful, too.

Some questions about the Billy Reids:

1) the 30" length is from below of collar?

Yes. Measured from the base of the collar. They are on the short side, but intended to be so.

2) Back vents? zero? 1? 2?

Double vented.

3) Functional button holes on sleeves?

No.

4) Are you sure the shoulders are 18". They seem snug for a 44 or even for a 42.

Yup. And that's about what I wear. This is more of a 42 than a 44.

5) Front buttons? 2? 3?

Two.

6) Could you describe the colors? The base color is gray? light brown? beige? checks are orange and black? pink and black?

I'd say the main pattern is black and cream. The accents are a red that's a little bit peachy, a very pale olive and a light blue.

It's 4" at the widest point - including the peak. If I measure it as though it was a notch lapel, it's a hair more than 3 3/4".

So, the madras sportcoat - surgeon's cuffs? And is that lapel button hole functional?

The sleeves have two buttons, but no buttonholes - all Ivy-like.

The lapel buttonhole is indeed functional.

Found the exact same shoes in a thrift and had them refurbished. If I didnt have the same pair already, I'd bite. May still, if you went down to 50 on them. SL
