Yeah, some color would be additive. Some navy suede or something?

It is about "traditional," but I've always had that style, and it seems like it is becoming more "on trend" nowadays

It's a cool collection, and piece by piece it's okay, it's just overwhelming all in the same pic.

Navy, green, tan... you don't have to get too loud, just a bit of color maybe?

Not the worst here by far. Wasn't there a poster a few weeks back with a line of like 10 of the same loafers, one in each shade from light brown to black?

Overall I would cut down on the slip-on shoes & trim the number of plain-toes.
Remove maine hunting boot.
Need some color! Maybe some newer designers.
Feels a bit old-mannish.

I was gonna say the same thing... looks like my dads shoe collection.. very monotonous.

I like most of them, sans the front row because I think tassels just scream "old". I don't really see anything wrong with the footwear. It's more on the traditional side. If you want a more jazzed up color, Tricker's will do the trick. (No pun intended). PS no sneakers at all? :P

The collection is good for what it is, but for what it is, it is not good. Feel me?

you guys should see my shoe collection. You can tell when I bought which shoes based on what's been popular on styleforum

I have some APCxNike sneakers, but I haven't worn them in a while Monday-Friday I am biz formal/casual, so I need mostly dress shoes. For night / weekend wear, I prefer dressier shoes. I guess I should add an upscale sneaker. I'll look into adding Edward Green for work next year

I have some of the Aldens you do and I think most Aldens are very versatile...look great with suits, jeans, and chinos.

EG! I will be there with you in several years.

Nobody will notice.
The worst that will happen:
You post a fit in WAYWT and someone makes fun of you for being DRESSED BY THE INTERNETS.
Or after you die, some dude tsk-tsks your collection while looking through it, identifying eras of footwear like the rings on a tree.

I wish I could say the same. My dads shoe collection is so much worse.

I think your collection just about covers every brown hue imaginable. You certainly like your browns!

I clicked on the photo and looked through the individual pics of your shoes; you have some nice stuff in there. Your "family pic" doesnt do your shoes justice, especially your Alden shells. This is more of a MC collection My initial opinion of your collection was "meh" but I have since changed my mind. Very nice collection
