For curiosity's sake, would anyone mind detailing the whole fake Tiffany pendant snafu and the response overstock.com gave?
there is an epic thread (or was) on fatwallet.com about this. Basically more than a couple people bought the pendants and took them to Tiffanys locations, all of whom laughed at the notion they were authentic. Overstock began fielding tons of calls, and for days denied the pendants were fake. They finally began offering refunds but STILL never admitted anything was wrong with them- more like 'if you don't like it you can send it back for a refund'. I DETEST companies like this. When I personally experience or hear about things like this happening with sites, I 'cross them off the list'.
