Initial Impressions
I ordered Taylor Stitch's 10 oz indigo Cone Mills Flatout shirt (http://taylorstitch.com/products/indigo-cone-flatout).
The denim shirts come in three colors:

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it.
It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality.
If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...
I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected.
I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker.
A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...
I am a thin build girl with skinny hip and bums, I normally wear a size 25 in Paige denim, and thought I give the selvedge raw a try. The 24 of New Standard is too bulky in the high waist leg,...
I know comments like that can't be universally true or false, but I'm not going to lie: I haven't met someone of my generation (mid-20s) who was openly anti-abortion that made this statement seem outlandish.
Bump - I just listened to It's Bad For You. The parts on children, phone calls, and the last 5 or so tracks on "questioning authority and bullshit" are absolutely classic.
The man is my idol. I've learned more from listening to George Carlin than I have from any other source.
Couldn't agree more. Carlin was not simply a comedian; he was a philosopher. I tell people I am a Carlinite, not a Christian. As the man said, "I would never want to be a member of a group whose symbol was a guy nailed to two pieces of wood."

I saw Carlin live right after he got out of rehab (early 2005). He had to rely on notes, and most of his act was a rant on the stupidity of George W. Bush. Not that funny except for a supremely hilarious bit about transplating a certain part of the female anatomy:
"We can do heart transplants, I don't understand why we can't do pussy transplants."
"Whenever I hear about a young woman dying, all I can think about is that perfectly good pussy being put into the ground."
I saw Carlin live two times, and he was amazing. I've seen a LOT of standup and his show was right up there, just wheezing, can't-even-breathe laughter. The second time I saw him was in the mid 2000's with my entire family, my parents took all 4 of us kids to see him because they were huge fans and we needed to experience him live. That was a very cool family outing. His second wife just published a book featuring all sorts of notes and letters that he had written to her over the years. I read it the other day, a really interesting look at his private (but still silly) side. http://www.amazon.com/George-Carlin-.../dp/1451607768
Just finished listening to FM/AM. His first CD release. Just an amazing piece of comedic work. The news skit still cracks me up to this day: "Famed television announcer Charlie The Tuna was found dead today of mercury poisoning."
