Hi,

I'd be interested in the Lollipop red Eaton boot.I love the colour but would prefer a group MTO rate rather than the individual MTO rate.

I like the union jack throne that is used to highlight the MTO from shoehealer

Fresh from Richard and Michelle at Shoehealer! How amazing are they!

pebble bottoms/lace stays. shell vamp and tongue.
storm welt, commando sole, matched eyelets, and blue lining/pull tab make these my new east village s#@t kickers.

Spring MTO:

Hi Fellas,

I'm trying to put together a SHOE for spring 13, most likely suede.

Recently, i've been really impressed by the make ups with contrast heel contours...

a suede bourton, woodstock, or matlock would be great jumping off points.

I was thinking one color for the main body, plus a pop color for the back.

for example:

pistachio suede bourton wingtip, white eyelets, white eyelets, oatmeal suede heal counter. i personally like these a lot with commando soles, but am open to other options.

thoughts?

I haven't nailed down my Trickers sizing, but keep me posted. I'm interested.

thanks for the interest guys!

here are some more detailed thoughts and images of inspiration and execution:

contrast heel counter bourton: here is a mcnairy make up as well as two trickers make ups to show how a heel counter can rock..

using the leathers listed on the shoe healer's site, here are some options. for all of the below, I'm thinking antique edging/welt, commando sole.

oatmeal suede bourton, possible heel counter pop colors are dusty pink, pistachio,
dusty pink bourotn, oatmeal suede heel counter. I love that pink suede, with white eyelets, would look great in a longwing to.

here's another make up i like a lot, mixed media cap toe.
i think it works best as a tonal make up, rather than mixing colors. a pop color pull tab would add the fun.

you could do green calf on the cap toe and body, and green suede on the vamp and the heal counter.
in brown you could do tan calf on cap toe and body, tan suede on vamp, and burnished tan pebble grain on heel counter.

the rest are just trickers make ups in suede that i really like.

on this last make up, you could do a variety of things...such as add a medallion on the toe. you could do mixed media as well, tan pebble heel counter, tan suede lace stays, and tan calf upper, with pop eyelets and pop color pull tab.

I'm def interested in a unique makeup like this will the heel counter adding a nice pop to the shoe. Only thing I'm against is the white eyelets never been a fan of random white accents, and it be cool to really make the heel accent the only real color break. I'll subscribed so should hopefully be kept up to date on this custom endeavor.

fair enough on the eyelet front. Plus, changing eyelets is a forty dollar fix, max, after the fact anyway so that shouldn't really be a barrier to entry for anyone.

let's try and start narrowing on color options. Would also like to hear peoples thoughts on pull tabs. For my part, I really like them and I think they are actually quite subtle.

I'd be a fan of mixing up the material maybe suede main material with a tumbled leather heel counter?
