Just a suggestion - Roy boots in black is very similar to the black scotch grain Grasmere boots.
Perhaps could do the tan scotch grain & commando sole (make it 'super') for the Roy boots instead?

Down payment submitted for Eaton September order. Thanks, rkusmant for organizing.

Anybody else interested in the Stow boots a la FB?

^ I think the Tricker's light tan scotch has a stronger grain print and lighter colour (almost wheat).
Those Culford boots look nice, I was tossing up between those and the Grasmere some weeks back.

Tan scotch grain (next to marron). I think a tan scotch grain Roy would look good. I'd probably pass since I've already got the Stows though.

zippyh, I think it's time for you to reveal your Tricker's collection after the Alden ones a while ago.

I'm liking those straight tip cap toes! Here's another pic

What about a group buy on these, except with a Brown Dainite sole? And maybe change the eyelets to brass?

Tricker's WB Stow (4497 last / 5 fitting):
WBStowMTO-1.png

*Many thanks to 925 for providing the sketch.

Imo, these will look great with dk denim and/or black. Should develop a very nice color over time if polished with a combination of black and navy waxes so the contrast between the grey and navy calf should lessens.

rkusmant, please post these up on the other forums you frequent. Btw, I think you can safely remove design #4 and #5 from your 1st post as no one has signed up for those...

Wes Bourne, nice design.

What if the quarter and backstrip is also in Navy blue?

I'd rather not, as it would make it too much of a 2-tone design (Ã la LS Keswicks)... Imo, just having the navy heel counter (and pulls) is enough to create visual interest. I think it works precisely because it's unbalanced, i.e. there's more grey than navy.

I'm definitely signing in for this model! How about all black calf with navy calf or bugundy calf heel counter
