Just a suggestion - Roy boots in black is very similar to the black scotch grain Grasmere boots.
Perhaps could do the tan scotch grain & commando sole (make it 'super') for the Roy boots instead?

Yeah Mike, tan scotch grain can look good too, I think AS has the similar style in tan color here it is

^ I think the Tricker's light tan scotch has a stronger grain print and lighter colour (almost wheat).
Those Culford boots look nice, I was tossing up between those and the Grasmere some weeks back.

Nonono, need to get MTO ideas for things I don't have.

It's indoor photos today. Just started to rain.

Navy Bourtons from pedi, green Keswicks from LS, grey Bourtons from Tricker's ebay shop.

Lolipop cavalier from the Bureau, tan scotch grain from the Bureau, marron from Tricker's ebay, acorn from pedi.

Gold something or other Not Stows from STP, coffee brown Not Stows from STP, Froswicks from Herring.

Espresso Burfords from STP, marron Burfords from LS. Those Espresso brown ones appear black in the photo but they're a really nice rich brown.

Boot bar chart.

Brown Paisleys and burgandy Richard longwings from STP.

Burnished 1001 (I think) monks from Tricker's ebay, black captoe from STP.

Imo, these will look great with dk denim and/or black. Should develop a very nice color over time if polished with a combination of black and navy waxes so the contrast between the grey and navy calf should lessens.

rkusmant, please post these up on the other forums you frequent. Btw, I think you can safely remove design #4 and #5 from your 1st post as no one has signed up for those...

I'd rather not, as it would make it too much of a 2-tone design (Ã la LS Keswicks)... Imo, just having the navy heel counter (and pulls) is enough to create visual interest. I think it works precisely because it's unbalanced, i.e. there's more grey than navy.
