Mine are still in transit, cant wait to put my hands n feet on em, so glad we went with 4444 last, looking at the pics, def. much more shapely than 4497.

Will recive mine in a week or so. I' m also glad we went for the 4444 last. These will be my third pair of MTO Eaton's. The two other pairs are with a width 6 so I'am eager to try them on and see if they fit the way I hope they will :-)
Looking at the photos I am very happy the way they turned out and I don't think Richard at Shoe Healer will have any problems selling the extra pairs he ordered.
I hope we can make another MTO Eaton on the 4444 last during 2014.

If it is on 4444 last, count me in.

Something burgundy in scotch grain leather?

Eaton or Stow?

I really like the make up of the first boot, but I am not fond of the color,

I would go with a Burgundy like the boot below.

However an Eaton boot in either of these colors would be phenomenal.

Burgundy scotch grain.

Natural welt.

Red Dainite sole.

Brass eyelets?

Purple or blue pull tabs, purple or blue lining?

Will it be an Eaton boot on 4444 last?? tbh the more i see the pics, more appealing scotch grain becomes. Not sure if its cauz burgundy shoes are in black background. I have already got few cordovans in burgundy/color8, atm I am more in favor of scotch grain but will see how this thread develops.

I propose a stow on 4444 last.

I have never seen an Eaton in burgundy or stoch grain except for the one on Frans Boone website:

Which also carries a ridiculous price.

I might be interested, but too many colours I would have thought. If it is a red Dainite sole would red lining and tabs be better?

yeah maybe orange lining and pull tabs for better contrast?

I was getting my inspiration from the boot below, as you can see the blue is quite nice.

Went looking for a burgundy with a blue pull, but found this pull tab instead :)

That's a nice boot. I wonder if striped pull tabs are available on Shoehealer's MTO program.

Found this, at http://www.fineandcountryfootwear.com/tricker-s-eaton-9-lace-holes.html , not bad but color appears to be more brown than burgundy. hopefully will look more elegant on 4444 with 7 brass eyelets, blue lining, blue or blue/red pull tab, natural welt, red/orange/brown sole.
