I appreciate that you would ask Richard if he could reserve a pair for me but that`s to late now I guess :-) I will ask him tomorrow if he ordered a few extra for his store, and maybee one of those pairs fit me.

If not,  I`am ready for a new MTO as soon as there is something I fancy showing up in this tread.

A happy new year and in tweed we trust :-)

Ravn

Hi Ravn, thanks for replying to my post.  Unfortunately, we were always 1 or 2 short, so I gave up on that MTO.  I have since purchased a similar shoe from another brand, so I won't be moving forward again at this point.  Here are the specs again, if anyone is interested in putting this MTO together.  Richard told me he would be interested in 2 pairs, so I think you would only need 4.

Happy New Year everyone!

So here are the initial specs for this makeup -

Last, 4497s.
Fitting, 5.
Colour, Teak Cordovan.
Lining Colour, ??
Eyelets, Brass Eyelets.
Laces, Tan Waxed Cord Laces.
Welt, Barbour Welt in Natural Finish.
Sole, Double Leather Sole.

FWIW, the reason the teak cordo allans are delayed is that the factory rejected the material.

I missed the last MTO for this boot and cannot find it anywhere.

I would be in, although I think the previous order was made with a red Dainite, which is just a tad bit too crazy for me. A regular black Dainite would be better for me. I'm fine with all the other choices listed here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/356138/mto-iris-cordovan-trickers-eaton-boots

I spoke to Richard and he expressed interest in making another order of the Iris Cordovan boot, he said another customer and myself were on board so far.

I don't know the specifications that he is considering, I can speak to him and get full details.

Nice. I just finished writing him an email as well since I bought a Bowood exactly a year ago and I wanted to get a better understanding of the MTO timeline. I definitely mentioned Styleforum so maybe this will move forward real soon. As long as we switch away from the red Dainite (really too much), I'm in.

Good, looks like we are off to a good start.

Well I don't mind the red Dainite and I can live with a black commando sole.

I would prefer the plain cap toe with no medallion decoration as I already have a similar one

in coffee burnished.

Here is the boot make up provided by Shoehealer.

Model, Eaton in Iris Cordovan with Toe Medallion.
Last 4497s.
Lining, Navy Blue Lining ???
Pull Loops, Purple Pull Loops.
Eyelets, Brass Eyelets.
Welt, Barbour Welt in Natural Finish.
Sole, Dainite Sole in Black.

He is ordering next week and says the specifications are not fixed yet and is open to suggestions.

So I take it this the boot below minus the commando sole in replacement for black Dainite.

Hey Guys,

A few of us have been trying to put together an MTO project with 3 definites confirmed.  It'll be based upon a recent Junya Watanabe X Trickers Super Boot model that retailed earlier last year at Mr. Porter, Paul & Friends, and The End.

There are some modifications we'll be making to that model too.  And the quote we got from Richard from the Shoe Healer, makes it a better deal too.

Current pricing for our MTO model would be £325.00 (exclusive of VAT), or around $522.00 for non-EU based customers.

Inclusive of VAT, it would be £390.00.

Tentative Specs are as Follows:

Tricker's Eaton Model (w/ no medallion on toe) i.e. a perforated captoe boot
Acorn Antique Leather
Brass Eyelets
Red or Orange Lining
Orange Pull Tabs
Commando Sole
Natural Welt
4444 Last / 5 Fitting

The photos below should give you an approximate idea of what the boot would turn out like:

What's different with our MTO model is that it would be on the 4444 last, and have brass eyelets, whereas the original Junya model is rumoured to be on the 4497 . . .

Got an email from SH that this MTO is ready for shipment, cant wait to put my feet on them beauties.

This boot make up looks great, however I am not sure if blue Dainite is available with Shoehealer's MTO.

I do wish this was a stow in scotch grain leather, then I would jump in a heart beat!
