I am really happy with my recent GMTOs, both Amaretto and Color 4. I received my Color 4s fairly quickly, a few days before Christmas, but due to holiday travel, didn't really get to wear them until I got back. I went with two different versions of the cap toe boot in these two orders, brogue and frankenstitch. Honestly, I was on the fence on the Color 4s, but I'm glad that I joined in, as I really like the color and the look of the frankenstitch. Thanks Carmina, looking forward to getting more MTO from ya'll. Those color 4 Frankenstitch jumpers are sexy. I would have done the exact same makeup if I got the chance.

Ah! I have the 341. Same lengths?

They feel/look pretty similar to me. I have a pair of cap toes coming soon on soller but for now I can take a pic comparing 341 vs a soller nst (later).

Oscar is slightly longer but doesn’t look like that on feet because forest it’s pointier with strighter sides. Oscar it’s the slighly casual-er version of the forest

How much longer are we talking about? Thicker socks longer or size down longer?

Gentlemen, I need your advice on boxcalf leather.
I have one wholecut pair that I weared few hours and I find the creases quite marked and with a look a little bit bad.
For those who have boxcalf shoes, what do you think about it ?

In flexion :

Flat :

In comparaison, the vegano leather is more subtile :

Not even thicker socks. The fit it’s more than the lenght and width of the shoe and I’ve found that feet are pretty “fluid” and can adapt different lenghts and widths if the volume inside the shoe it’s distributed accordingly. Besides that, the difference it’s minor and barely noticeable. For me they’re the same size

Wow. They look great!

I now start having a regret for not jumping in the Color 4 GMTO.

My 8 UK Forest last boots fit more generously than my 8 UK Oscar last boots. Initially, the Oscar last boots were tight on the heels, but that resolved itself after several wears. Again, this is my experience. The difference is not overwhelming.

Maybe my feet are freakish. Maybe my boots have variance and the Oscar is shorter than normal or the Forest is longer than normal. Whatever the case, putting them side by side I see no difference. Trying them on, my experience was as described above. Both pairs of boots were made around 2012 - 2014 so I have no idea if anything changed between now and then.
