Definitely not going crazy, we have done this before but as a custom-made item. If you're interested in having this done on your custom order, simply reach out to our CS team, as it does entail a pattern modification and we will need to confirm by how many cm you would want the cane shortened.

Got my order in. Not even remotely expecting to see it anytime soon and that’s okay.

Managed to get some useful feedback at the last minute that changed some of my preferences and I’m definitely thankful for that.

Hi all. Which Carmina last is the equivalent to C&J 365 (Islay), slim and fitted at the heel and sides and then wide at the forefoot?

Hello everyone! I am new here and wanted to say hi and share my first ever custom MTO at carmina. I have always been a lurker and wanted to contribute. Anyways I love chelsea boots (have several) and one shell cordovan (laced up boot) and its been a goal of mine to combine the two. This will be my first carmina pair and I just ordered this recently with the help of the fine people at 509 Madison (excellent CS BTW). I tried on the 80186 (calf leather IIRC) in both rain and inca 8.5UK and the rain felt a smidge loose around the ankles but the inca felt like it was made for my feet (like bespoke if I can say so!) Yes I've read some QC issues here and there but it appears every time Carmina has made things right so let's take a chance! Hopefully I will post pics when it arrives. If this works out I might get a matching pair for my wife at the next MTO event.

I've spent maybe seven or eight months of my life in San Francisco, between work visits and conventions, so I know the city well, especially the part within walking distance of Union Square! Good luck on the location!

Happiest about that store seeing Isaiah given the helm. He was spectacular several years ago when we first met in NYC and I knew within about 30 seconds of walking in that he'd be going places.

At this rate he'll be running the whole show in 10 years.

Looking at these here the laces really are comically large but I liked the pink so much this morning.... rushed out
