Got these in. I was concerned the last (Forest) would be too narrow for me (I'm normally a 8.5E US), but the 8 UK seems to fit ok. I think I could have gone TTS in these, which seems pretty strange since they are UK sized. They are my first Carmina pair (I'm an Alden guy). These match up pretty well to Aldens. The leather is slightly more rubbery and less supple than Alden's calf. The finishing isn't perfect on this pair, but neither are Aldens most of the time. Great buy and fun model!
Is the suede brown or loden? It looked brown on the webstore but seems loden in your pics. If that's the case, I might have to give these another look :satisfied:

Got mine today as well. Clearly tried on around the house a bit and returned but nothing major. Carminas only come with one shoe bag right?

Also matches paperwork seems really mr. Porter esque. Wonder if they are owned by net a porter

Was supposed to get mine today as well, but apparently the DHL guy couldn't figure out how to push a button. They assured me the delivery person who comes by on Monday will be more competent.

I seem to have the same problem quite frequently. My apartment buzzer number is the same as my apartment (it is literally on the button; there is one for every apartment), but half the time I'm home all day waiting and when I check the tracking it says the package couldn't be delivered and there is a slip saying they were there stuck on my mailbox.

I'd say they were doing it because they're lazy and can't be bothered to buzz, but isn't it more work to fill out those little slips?

Mmmm....from Leatherfoot. No sizes available, so I assume it's not in stock yet.

Same exact situation for me. It's not at all difficult to figure out. Number and last name are right there on the button.

My box was wet when I got it. It's a good thing Matches put it in 3 boxes. The Carmina box, a Matches Box, and a box for shipment. I hadn't noticed the delivery box had gotten wet until after the DHL guy left. It was kind of soaked on one side actually, I think the Matches box prevented the Carmina box from getting wet.

I think it was my first pair from Epaulet that came with only one bag. At the time they said that was the case, but they sent me second one afterwards because they had a few extras. I actualy got two bags with this pair however.

The two pairs of Carmina shoes I got from The Armoury only came with one bag. The Armoury said that Carmina shipped it to them that way. Every other pair I've bought (Epaulet/Skoaktiebolaget/Carmina) has come with two shoe or boot bags.

Same here.

1 bag from Epaulet. Epaulet made up for it and sent one later.

However 2 bags each from Soaktiebolaget and Matches.

Yeah it's a hassle just hold at location if I can most of the time. Worst is the 2 day FedEx express shipments where drivers just put delivery exception if they are running late or something. My delivery time is always 9:45-10:15 range so I wait poolside and half the time no truck drives by and no door tag is left even if FedEx tells me there is.

I only got 1 bag with my Matches order :(

I talked to a sales associate about this when I was visiting the Paris store. When I purchased my first pair of shoes there, they only came with one shoe bag. But when I ordered shoes directly from the webstore, they came with 2 bags. I e-mailed the store asking if one bag was missing, but they told me for a while there was actually a shortage of shoe bags and that they were only putting 1 bag in each box.

Luckily, the shortage seems to be over and when I returned to the Paris store earlier this month, the sales associate recognized me and gave me another bag since they received a whole bunch of extras.

Is there anyone out there that has these from Kent Wang and can recommend a similar Carmina last? These KW shoes fit me pretty well (with the addition of tongue pads to help get rid of a bit of heel slip). Looks like Rain may be similar but it's hard to tell just by looking at pics:
