^ Cheers, thanks stmaier.

Given the slight controversy surrounding the delivered colour on the previous order, and the smaller size of this order, I imagine we can push for some reassurances from Carmina (via Skoaktie) regarding the colour.

I slightly prefer this darker "true" cognac but to be honest, I would be perfectly happy with the lighter colour as well.

Gorgeous shoes. I've never ordered directly from Carmina - does anyone know if shoes listed on their site are available for immediate delivery, or is it an order and wait type of deal?

Just ordered two pairs. Neither were in stock at the main place, but available at other Carmina stores, so they shipped to the main Carmina store first, then shipped to me. Took about 7 business days. They used DHL, and I got hit with import duties

Beautiful shoes, though.

The color of the Unipair boot is Cognac (the "dark" version)...it has been discussed at length but the color of the previous MTO really came out as Saddle

Agreed, our boot is more of a dark cognac. It is quite stunning.

What's the color of the pair, top picture, in between green and dark cognac? Saddle?

yeah, new along with a couple others including the rain lasted suede chukka. this particular make-up looks like a bad photoshop. perhaps upon viewing a similar dark cognac wingtip someone at Carmina decided to create a similar shoe in the same shell color and once they took delivery they noticed how much lighter the shoe turned out so someone just decided to reduce the contrast and increase the brightness and voila a "new" shoe is born because marketing a saddle shell colored shoe as a dark cognac shoe might be considered misrepresentation. and thats not cool with a ~$700ish shoe or boot

If anyone is a UK 9, 10 or 11, is in the US, and wants to avoid any customs surprises, this looks to be the same pair from farfetch that was posted here a while ago:

http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/me...ace-up-oxford-item-10349002.aspx?storeid=9269

From Carmina you'll pay about $630 with shipping and risk customs while from farfetch it'll be about $640 with shipping and customs already paid.
