You can email them (really Betty) through the form on their website. Or info at their domain (carminashoemaker.com).

^^ exactly. [email protected].

Be prepared with details like model #, last, leather/color, etc. While I've found Betty to be fairly responsive, don't expect a lot in terms of detailed answers, hand holding, etc. (like you might expect from the folks at the armoury).

Does anyone know whether Carmina plans to make more models (especially from Rain/Simpson) available through the web store or is what we see pretty much it? I noticed some new models last week in the store, like the Jodphur boot in the Forest last.

Don't know what their plans are for new models, but there have definitely been a few new ones put up over the last month or so. The boot you mention, green and navy shell models, and a few others, so it might be worth emailing to ask or just keep checking. I'll admit I visit the site just for fun. Thought that fun did lead to another purchase, Forest last black balmoral cap toes (or toecaps, as I believe Carmina refers to them), which I should have this week and of which I will post photos... :)

Thanks for the link but I'm not interested in the styles that are a part of that group buy.
I've been planning to get the Chelsea in the Rain last but I just saw that these Forest last Jodphur boots are on the webstore. Hard decision. Can anyone comment on the how the toe looks on the Forest last? I prefer chiselled toes but if the Forest isn't too rounded it might be ok.

I like this Jodhpur Carmina better (Alcudia last), because it's more feminine and the one you linked too is very similiar to the C&J Cottesmore. But all are very nice boots. :)

Things can take a while with Betty. It took almost two weeks total for her to track down a particular make up in my size and to complete the transaction. Now it has to be shipped from the Paris store back to Spain before she can ship it to me. Not the most efficient process. But she did get it done. And all correspondence was polite. I wonder that they can go to such trouble over one pair of shoes for the prices they charge. It's a mystery!

So now there is nothing to do but wait for the order to arrive. Anyone wanna see some GREEN CORDOVAN wingtips?

Does anybody know if a UK 7 or 8 in the Alcudia last would fit a UK 7 1/2 in AS 87 last?
