I am currently living in London. Just have Gentlemen's footware send them over as I found that was the easiest and they offer free shipping. But I get absolutely destroyed with VAT. They charge it on the shipping cost as well as the declared value and add a few random percent on for laughs.

You could call the retail stores of Carmina for delivery. I believe the Carmina retail store models are 25€ more than the online store prices, plus 20-30€ in shipping.

Quality-Shop is another alternative, although their selection is quite small.

its the VAT, customs charges and little hidden fees like that when having something imported that has put me off. With carmina you get alot more than what you pay for, but import and shipping adds to that cost. I have found a website www.macsamillion.co.uk but their selection is limited

Buying from Carmina e-shop or Skoab you shouldn't have any additional costs as VATs already been charged. Probably better from Carmina as Spain's VAT rate is lower than Sweden's. Skoab's probably got nicer stuff tho

Epaulet New York is another and when participating in their special MTO models they will have them shipped directly to you from carmina I believe.

As others have said, if you order from Carmina directly or from Skoaktiebolaget, you shouldn't be charged any more VAT as the VAT will already be included in the price charged by Carmina or by Skoaktiebolaget.

Needless to say with regards to my previous comment, I have been proven wrong and am glad to stand corrected.

Hi Konda,

Did Betty clarify if the the free shipping applies to models or sizes not available on the e-boutique?

So to confirm, there is free international shipping?

Does Carmina make a shoe similar to the Salinger Double Monk Burgundy Shell Cordovan that is not for Epaulet. I want the exact color(burgundy) and style(double monk).
