Or robert, it has a more almondish toe shape imho.

Quick question for everyone, as I don't know Carmina as well as I know Aden -

The Burgundy Alt Wien's that Epaulet currently has - would these look out of place with a charcoal suit?  I'm just not sure if Carmina's burgundy has too much red in it to really work with a charcoal suit ...

Thanks so much for all your help!!

I think they would look fine. The Carmina burgundy isn't all that red. It's not as eggplant/purple as Alden is. I actually prefer the Carmina color for dress clothes.

I agree 100% regarding the Alden comparison. I wore my Carmina burgundy shell single monks today with a charoal suit an di think it looks great -- maybe a little more stylish than the Alden color #8 would but perfectly nice.

Carmina burgundy cordovan.  Some indoor and outdoor pictures.  I think it goes well with many different colors of pants.

They are on the Simpson last and they are not on our site because they are almost sold out.  I will check to see if we have any remaining.  If you guys really like them we can order some different colors and leathers for that model.  If you have any ideas for that model for an MTO please let me know.

You can treat your Navy shell the same as all shell colors.  The Mac method will make that navy pop!  drool.gif

I'd certainly be down for an MTO in perhaps a dark brown cordovan, or even that burgundy in the photo.

All we need is six to make it happen.  That model in Carmina cognac/dark brown cordovan would be stunning!  I will also post it up in our Unipair thread and get it going.

X post from our thread but we are closing these 3 MTOs below this weekend ;)

They are all good to go at this point, so send me a PM if anyone wants to jump in last minute. Cheers!

I did a preliminary look and couldn't find a SF affiliate with that model in burgundy shell/calf. Any direction from the members?

Skoaktiebolaget has the Carmina 813 shortwing oxford in burgundy cordovan. I just got a pair myself recently; you should email them to see if they have your size in stock. Note that theirs is on the Forest Last, whereas the shortwings above from Gentlemans Footwear are on the Rain Last.
