+1 - I picked up this shoe directly from Carmina a couple months back. If you like the Simpson last then this is the way to go.

I want to try something other than the carmina or twintube shoetrees.

Could anyone be kind enough to give some advice?

I've only used Carmina trees on my Carmina shoes but the LCA Perfecta Beechwood trees from the Hanger Project would work nicely (I am using a couple of those on other shoes). They are a bit pricey though...

I'm using saphir size 7uk trees from A Fine Pair of Shoes in carmina 8uk (rain and forest) and 8.5uk (simspon) with no issues.

Could the fit be better? Probably, maybe. Do I think it matters? Not at all.
