How about a comparison shot with the lighter color when you get the chance if you don't mind.

Carmina light cognac vs dark cognac (daylight comparison):

Carmina 2-eye derby (rain last) after a dozen or so wears. One of my most worn pairs, love them to bits. I was just thinking if the calf creases like this, imagine the shell version.

PS. I don't mind the creases at all.

I am US9D, and took a 8.5UK in these....fit is great.

fiddler, love your shoes but I cant help to wonder whats causing what appears to be excessive creasing

Thank you sir.

The lighter version looks like Alden;s whiskey color.

If we do this in Navy(or Saddle) for an MTO shipping is on us!

These are 8.5 Uk. I also have a 8Uk shell single monk in Rain but that was really messing with my little toe on the right foot, so I sent it to be stretched. Now it is ok.

Only thing I can think of is that my true carmina size sits between 8 and 8.5Uk. But I would rather have them slightly relaxed than full-on tight.

I don't have such prominent creasing in EG, G&G (where I take 8.5E) and St Crispin where I wear their 8F (normal width).

For those more familiar with Carmina's lasts, is it my imagination or is the Inca last essentially a wider version of the Robert last?

My humble 2 pairs of Carminas
