I'll move on when this issue conclusively comes to a close. Apparently some of you are totally drinking the Carmina Coolaid. Betty can do no wrong. :foo:

I've never had any dealings with Betty or Carmina and I've only purchased Carmina from Epaulet.

You sent an email to Spain 3 days ago the weekend before Christmas then ***** that you haven't received a response.
So if you sent the email Thursday pacific time, it probably wasn't going to be read until Friday their time at the earliest.
I don't think it would hard to imagine her thinking, "Screw it, I'm going to have some tapas and I'll deal with this guy after Christmas".

Given what you have posted in past threaks, it's hard not to think we're not hearing the whole story and it's not just poor you getting shat upon.

FWIW, just going by what you have presented, I do think you should be made whole.

Funny, it took me almost three weeks to get her to take mine...........So long I had pretty much given up on ever hearing from her.

I think the Majorcan mind has a very different perception of the importance of time than does the American mind. As a matter of fact......I'm quite certain of it.

No, i would be far from fine with it.

As you didn´t get a reply i can see that christmas is getting in the way but this could also be one other sign of bad customer service. Since your aren´t done with this i think Betty should answear as quick as possible so both she and you can put this behind you. This whole story shows that Betty need to shape up the way she handle customers who aren´t satisfied and if she thinks it´s to much trouble or if she has other things to do, maybe they shouldn´t sell directly. Do it right or don´t do it at all.

I do business with spanish people (have a small company) and the people i deal with is very professional and always answear emails fast and want to do the best of everything. Great service and attitude, they speak pretty good english too. I don´t think this is a spanish / whatever country thing, this is about people and how they choose to handle their customers/partners.

Is Carmina slow to respond? Yes
Does Carmina have QC issues? Yes

But Christ, from listening to your comments and watching your reactions, you'd think you were dying from an illness or something more grave. Chill da **** out or at least spare us the teeny-bopperesque drama.

For the love of God, let it go! You wrote earlier with resignation, that you were out the Paypal fee, and were letting it go ( at least I thought so) - Apparently not. 3 days, no contact? Stay stateside with AE. I don't care what others say in defense of you. You are a frickin whiner, as you feel the need to update with your emails? I can tell immediately that you are obsessing and while your earlier gripes are completely meritorious, this has become a "cause". Sharing with members is what SF is all about. Your rather unpleasant experience with the shoes, her response, and the general handling of your complaint, is, I repeat, fine and illustrative of problems others may experience ( that is a comma killer). Please however, don't feed a personal agenda with updates as to how many days since the last reply
