Great shoe. I have the same one in a "burgundy-ish" color. Most comfortable shoe I own and I prefer it over all others.

Those spectators are just awful - monk, loafer, laceup - just awful. Youd need a plantation and a straw hat to pull those off

I think their ladies models (bar the monk); and you know....ladies can wear whatever they like.....

New pair of Carminas getting shipped tomorrow and proper Carmina trees for my other pairs icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Where are you getting those trees from? I'm scared to have to pay a ton if I order some outside the US. I've got four Carminas with an MTO on the way as well. Generic shoe trees.

From Carmina. If you get them from Epaulet they are $95 each but from Carmina they are $65 (50 Euro). I ordered them at the same time as the shoes because they don't charge extra shipping. So I saved a little over $10 each pair to order direct from Carmina along with a pair of shoes.

Do you live in the US? You're not worried about extra charges? I heard shoe trees cause issues with that.

satisfied.gif I guess we shall see. As long as it's not more than $60 it will be a wash with ordering from Epaulet.

It's one form, easy work compared to paying Epaulet markup

Sounds like I'm not sure of what all is involved. I thought if customs saw wood, they charge you a ton to release it. Or rather, when people ordered shoes, the ones with shoe trees were being held for an unknown amount of time, then people getting charged an absurd amount.

Never did anything but the Lacey form, customs were right on par with shoe costs nothing additional for shoe trees. Or is sent Royal Mail or posten no fees whatsoever nor forms as USPS doesn't have manpower to do it
