I was thinking of ordering these but not sure what trouble I'd get in to or what the wait is like.

I'm in the USA.

2 pair working directly with Betty . . . . it couldn't be any better

He do you get in contact with Betty? Do you use the form on the website? If there is a direct email would someone mind PMing it to me?

Thanks

Was looking on the Skoaktiebolaget website and noticed they have a Tanker Boot arriving in the fall, model 80274. Sounds very interesting. Anyone have a pic of what this looks like?

Sorry, no, it's not on the Carmina website either, I think it's either an archived model or a very new one. smile.gif It will kick ass either way, you can count on it! smile.gif

Real tanker's boots are 8" and have 1 monk strap for the instep and one that wraps 3 times around the shaft. It's so laces don't get caught inside tanks and cause problems. In the military if you are wearing tanker's boots and not a tanker you will be mercilessly mocked and probably get in trouble. teacha.gif

Wow, that boot sounds like it could be really badass. Leaves, what last is it on? And why suede for such a tough sounding boot?

Our boots are suede or nubuck or whatever. The days of the spit shine are over.

We're thinking more in the line of classic Tanker Boots.
