Just received the Ashbery Chukkas. You can definitely dress them down, but they are a sharp boot. Very nice. Too bad they arrived with a bunch of scuffs on them... Must have been heavily tried on in the store or something...

Either way they are a size too small for me so they have to go back anyways.

I recently visited the Carmina shop in paris. Must say I was a little let down. They mostly stocked shoes in the Rain last which imo is way to pointy and squrish, the Inca last is a little bit better since its more rounded but it was still too pointy for my taste.

The one I liked best was teh alcudia last, however they only had cordovan shoes in that last which were too expensive for a poor student :(

Last time I compared my shoes on Alcudia to the ones on Rain the Alcudia was definitely the more pointy of the two. Have not compared to Inca though.

Which of these pictures is more representative/accurate of the cognac calf color? There seem to be pretty significant differences across these pictures which all appear to be the same model (Rain - Model 10051a)

Check out the Oscar last. Very nice classic round last, see picture below (repost).

I'd say the color on the first one is the closest to what it really looks like.
Here are two pictures of my cognac Carminas, built on the Rain last :

I'd say that the first picture is actually the closest to the "real" color.

Based on what I remember from seeing in the store, I would say that the first picture is closest to the actual color.

New Carminas.

These are unlike any other Carminas that I've purchased. They are on a very thin single sole, short heal, and were quite inexpensive at about 160 Euros. I guess they are moccasin construction? Purchased from the E-store.
