I just picked up this model (I'm using somebody else's picture from this thread because I feel it represents the color most accurately) and I was wondering if anybody had any advice on what color Saphir polish to use. Carmina calls the color cognac, but it seems a bit lighter than standard cognac. I'm not sure if I should use light brown, light cognac, fawn, or something other color. Any advice is appreciated.
Saphir has a color "Tan" which actually looks yellow, but I think would be perfect to ensure you don't accidentally darken the shoes. I have it and I also have the color "Cognac" - Cognac has red in it and would not be appropriate.I just picked up this model (I'm using somebody else's picture from this thread because I feel it represents the color most accurately) and I was wondering if anybody had any advice on what color Saphir polish to use. Thanks for the help! I think I'll give the light brown a shot. Just out of curiosity, how do you guys feel about neutral cream?I use Saphir's light brown on my tan shoes. It is a genuine tan just like Kiwi's light brown. Kiwi is also a good choise and really doesn't come short of Shaphir unless you are as good with your shining as the shoe snob is.
QFT that Saphir's cognac is a no go for those unless you want red shoes.
