Whoa, amazing shoes Watchman1. What are the PTB's?

Thank You Sir.

They are the 531 or the PTB version of your LWB.

I posted the shoe last comparison to show the elegant clunkiness of the Detroit last.

From left to right: Rain last (cognac shell cordovan), Rain last (brown calf), Inca last (brown museum calf)

Top to bottom: Rain last (cognac cordovan), Rain last (brown calf), Inca last (brown museum calf):

My conclusions:

1) Rain and Inca are the same length.

2) Cordovan shoes are a touch larger than calfskin shoes (because they can't pull it as tightly over the last).

3) Inca has a noticeably narrower heel and waist.

4) Inca is a hair narrower across the vamp.

5) Inca also has a lower instep and is less steeply "raked" than the Rain last, making it less accommodating for a higher instep.

Woww! Thank u!!!

X-Post. I love how the colors are muted indoors and come alive outdoors.

What model are those? They look great!

Gotta say, looks almost as good as burgundy shell. I'd prefer no medallion, but it's a moot point.

Why isn't anyone thinking of a GMTO for the U wing boot in mixed media?

Polo suede shaft, Vegano Marron upper

Blue suede shaft, navy museum upper

Berry suede shaft, bordeo upper

Brown suede shaft, brown museum upper

Endless!

I was thinking of all of those but the permutations were so mind boggling that I lost track of time, space, and my place in the universe. I become one with the mixed media spirit, the boot Buddha, the cosmic GMTO karma. Days and weeks came and went. Shit, I left the dog outside since late February -- gotta run.

I am sure this has been covered, but I havent had the chance to read all 800 pages of this thread: Are there any sales on Carmina's website other than the little and large section? Thanks.
