Oh, it worked. Your pictures from a couple months ago are what started it. I'm thinking about these in green shell at some point, but I have two MTO's from other vendors out now. I'm trying to pace myself more these days.

That would make a striking and unique boot. What would you wear with them?

I can appreciate the idea of pacing. It's pretty easy to overload one's budget and storage capacity in a hurry.

At the moment I'm trying to live vicariously through the purchases of others.

That's probably the best question. They're different from what I usually wear, so I don't know how they'll fit in my wardrobe. Most of my current boots are Tricker's/AS and the chunkier Aldens, so even the Forest last seems really sleek to me in comparison. But based on past experience, I'll probably change my mind several more times before I actually place the order.
