I concur with six. Robert is a very pleasing and underrated last. I like Robert and Oscar. Would love to see more on these lasts.

Also of note, Robert is stunningly elegant in the midfoot and heel. Very sleek, but with a perfectly balanced toe shape.

It makes the best looking bal boot out there, bar none.

Yea those look pretty. I didn't like the leather of the model I tried last week maybe thats why the last overall felt not as nice. Especially compared to Simpson, which I think is really stunning.

Here are some pics from the Palma Store by the way:

^ Do you know the name of the last of the burgundy oxford in between the loafer and the wingtip?

Are you talking about the last picture? If so, no I don't know the lasts, but you can email Betty about it. She will surely find out 👍

It looks like the forest last.

I think the Forest last has much of a high profile in the toe área for an oxford. Although I do not have the Robert last, I think its a better alternative.
I am not that happy with my balmoral boots on the Forest.

Please elaborate more on what you don't like about your Balmoral boots.

My pleasure.  There is no problem at all with my boots/Forest last, but I rather get the Robert last for them (specially for oxfords shoes). I think the toe lines are slimmer.  I really like them but the toe  area has too much height for my liking and the fall on the tip is a bit large and loud for my taste.  This is totally subjective of course.

I am on hollidays so I cant take pics of my balmoral boots to show you better.Hope this help to understand my point of view

I see this last it suits better a blucher or a boot, specially a derby boot.

Cheers

I am with you too.  Oscar is a great last ( and really confortable at least for my toes).

Anyone have/tried the new Lloret last ? Supposedly a mix between Robert and Inca.
