,

It's not just the "type" of shoe that makes a difference.... wholecut, monks, derbies, oxfords, etc.
I'm sure that there are definitely issues with carmina's lasting process. It can be very inconsistent, giving rise to fit issues.
I've had 2 calf oxfords in the Rain last fit almost ENTIRELY differently.

But does a loafer and an Oxford make a difference in the same last and size?

I concur, I have two pair of Chelsea boots in rain last that fit great and a pair of suede boots that are super comfortable. These whole cuts are not bad, they didn't hurt till the end of the day and the pant legs cover up the laces.

I have 3 pairs of Rain lasted shoes - they all fit differently - one U Wing suede, one cap toe suede, one calf wingtip. Overall, they are all comfortable, but I notice slight differences in heel slip (from not at all/absolutely perfect fit to a decent amount, although still bearable).

I too notice a difference in the fit of my rain lasted shoes. I find the stitching pattern makes a difference with stitching across the shoe limiting stretch and tightening the fit. As a general rule wholecuts and plain toes are the roomiest, cap toes the tightest and wingtips somewhere in between.

Dear Fellow SFers,

Those of you who participated in the first Buger MTO - Tobacco suede Adelaide - have you received it yet? If not, when is ETA? If yes, please post pictures in the wild!

Best,

Dimitris

Gentlemen,

Quick Question:  When you placed an order on the Carmina site for a pair that was labeled; "In Production" and that you would not receive your shoes for 45 days, did you get charged immediately for the $$$, or did they wait until your shoes were ready to ship before they charged?

Please Advise.

Thanks.

Those are awesome @saurabh

How is the comfort? Does it flex well over the instep?
