I've got two pairs of boots from Carmina...the U-wing and the jumper boots.  The U-wing came with regular size ones that they don't fit it.  The jumper boots came with a larger size...but they only gave me one bag.

Took the chance to try the EEE width rain last which doesn't really feel much different on first try. I actually emailed Betty to verify if this was done on the EEE which she confirmed.

QC wise, this pair is one of the better ones I have received from Carmina. Can't find any issues beyond some dark streak marks on the inner heel area.

P.S. pics after being polished by me.

These are bloody terrific.  So full of win.

Hi all!

Sorry to barge in! Looking to get into Carmina, and I was trying to figure out my size. I've mostly worn Alden on the Barrie and what drew me to Carmina was the sleekness of the lasts. Very nice.

I'm a 9.5D Barrie, what would people suggest I do for a lace up and a loafer on the forest last, uetam, and soller?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Those boots Ecwy are really nice, much nicer than the ones at the webpage.  I will give you my EB´s boots to polish them once we get them from Skoak. ;)

Anyone interested in a GMTO for the Carmina 907 on the Rain last in a medium to dark brown calfskin (dark brown pictured below)?

I just received my Carmina semi-brogue oxfords, Inca last, in tanned vegano.

I wear 10D in Allen Edmonds. A 9UK in Rain fits perfectly and is just ever so slightly snug in the toebox. I find the 9UK in Inca fits fairly well, with more room in the midsection and toe compared to Rain (just as the Carmina website states).

One question--I was expecting my tan shoes to look more tan with brownish undertones. There is definitely more than a bit of an 'orange' coloration to these, much different than the tanned calf oxfords (Simpson--far too narrow, unfortunately) that I saw at The Armoury in NYC, and darker/more 'orange' than the picture of these shoes on the Carmina website. Is this coloration normal for tanned vegano compared to tanned calf? I'm posting a picture below next to a pair of AE casual tan loafers to illustrate the color difference.

They look great with light grey, but I need something more versatile that I can wear with medium gray, as well as light and medium blue. I'm not sure it is working with blue, as you can see in the other pic below. Should I return these and hold out for a GTMO of this model in Rain tanned calf, or does it look ok to your eyes in the picture?

I find them lovely. You can polish them with a "browner" color polish to add overtones.

A 10D in AE and a 9 on the Rain last? I was lead to believe the Rain last was usually a US E width or UK EE.

I wear 10.5 3E on AE, 10.5 2E Alden, 10 EE Lobb, and the Rain 10 EEE is definitely narrower in the toe and ball than all three. I'd say it is close to Barrie last E, maybe a touch wider. So the normal Rain last being equivalent to an Alden D width jibes with my experience.

Detroit is a touch wider and the EEE fits me perfectly. Just like AE 3E and Alden 2E. Lobb 2E is a hair wider (7000 last)

Gents, I'm kind of interested in the blue suede loafer on the right. Anyone know what model this is or where it may be available?

Those are lovely, would be perfect for a black-tie event. Any info would indeed be appreciated.

Why don't you send your request along with the photo to CARMINA directly? They can clarify everything and if you share, everybody would be informed!

Cheers
