I have decided against selling my boots after I tried them on today with an insole and thicker socks!

Both chukkas and boots are on the Rain last.I have seen loden suede in person and it is gorgeous - looking forward to seeing it in a wholecut.
I'll add my voice of praise on the snuff suede boots - what last are they on, unipair guy?
I have never had a problem with Unipair shoes in the USA. Never paid any taxes. We do mark the full value but we use EMS for shipping, never Fedex or DHL. With EMS you should avoid paying duties and taxes. Anyone who has ordered from us can report in on this but we haven't had customers complain about paying duties or taxes. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please let me know.
Is the Filadelphia/Philadelphia last still in use?
A perfect life.Never paid any taxes.
Just called Phila and only a NST dub monk on the site. Hideous creature!
Edit-Namor, the shaft is lined but it is so soft it seems unlined.
Just a quick heads up, I am in Lisbon, Portugal now and the local El Corte Ingles has a small selection of Carmina shoes (strangely they are not listed on the Carmina website as a stockist). The prices are the same as in the online shop, around 310-325 EUR for calf shoes. (No pictures, sorry)
