sounds odd. I thought rain was sleeker. perhaps it ranges from E-EE?

In contrast to the Forest and Oscar lasts, which Betty described to me as "wide," and the Simpson and Alcudia, which she described as "narrower," she described the Rain as "comfortable fitting."

My understanding is that Inca and Rain are the two widest lasts. My feet are right on the border of medium and wide and both of these feel very comfortable,

This is my understanding of the fittings (from Ethan at The Armoury and copied from this post):
Carmina lasts

Inca - Widest last and waist for wide feet (EE width)
Rain - Like the Inca but with a chisel toe (EE width)
Soller - A boot last like Robert, fits like a double E.
Forest - Standard width with round toe (E width)
Uetam - Similar to Forest but a shade narrower (E width)
Robert - Like the Simpson but more room in the toe box (E width)
Queen - an E width, similar to Alcudia but shorter
Alcudia - Like the Simpson but with Almond toe (E width)
Simpson - Narrow with chiseled toe, extended toe box (E width)

there she is! what a pleasant looking lady. After a rocky start, Betty and I have since exchanged over 18 emails in the past 4 days (you could say things were getting serious). At the end, ordered the shell Bal boot in Burgundy. Cannot wait

Next level. Will you make her a shell cordovan engagement ring?

With all due respect to the fine gentlemen at the Armoury I have to question this assesment of the Rain last. I have two pairs of shoes in this last, one in calf and one in shell. I find neither to be more than just a smidge roomier in width than the Simpson. I have to go with lovely Betty's assesment that Rain is 'regular fit'. Certainly not EE in my estimation.

Same route as mine. They literally went from Paris, to Barcelona, to Mallorca, to New Jersey to Atlanta.

They got quite a trip outta the deal.

Not sure how Carmina can make any moola doing this.

I was charged 50 euro for shipping. I was a little taken back by the price but now I feel like I got the better end of the deal :bounce2:

G, no nekad pics, just a pic of me with my lips pressed against the boots. Maybe even a little tongue
