I am in desperate need of this boot:
They posted it on Facebook (Style 80184 in oscar last in Cognac grain) but when I asked about it Betty let me know there's none in stock. No additional information was supplied so far. Anybody know if they're among the various MTO projects running at the moment? Or any interest in getting one going?
Hello, that is our extremely popular Jumper in hand finished brown grain. We have a small restock coming soon, and a huge one in March. E-mail us at [email protected] to be on the waiting list.

I'm thinking Burgundy Cordovan. It would look nice in a two tone version too, like antiqued Burgundy Calf/ Burgundy Suede or Brown Calf/Brown Suede, with the suede in the middle part.

Assuming this would be on the Rain last as is the one in the Carmina picture, no?

Thank you so much for your answer! I am already on your waiting list. :)

But is it really the same leather? The FB pic seems a lot warmer, more towards the red. Is this just the lighting?

It is probably a combination of the lighting and the fact that the leather is hand burnished. It is my understanding that this particular scotch grain comes to Carmina in a neutral tone and they then hard burnish it to the desired color. This leather will probably be similar to cordovan in that each batch is going to vary slightly.

100% correct. It is originally in a light tanned color and then they finish it by hand, so it will vary a little from batch to batch.

Patrik--is the Camel Grain on the fur lined boot the same grain as the jumper and the pic above?

You can get lucky in the Spain stores. I was on business in Madrid and they had a huge display of 50% off at the time. All sizes too. I would definitely stop in if you're in the area.

good to know...........what time of year was this?

Correct, the wingtip shoes above and the fur lined jumpers are in "Camel" Grain, this is the original leather used for the grain jumper model 80184, which is then hand finished to a darker hue.

Patrik, thank you for your answers, this is very helpful. Still unsure: Is the pic I posted (from Carmina's Facebook page) pre or post hand finishing?
