X-post from our affiliate thread regarding a GMTO for a fur lined Derby boot. It will basically be a darker version of this model:
1000

ORIGINAL POST:
I’m glad to see this much interest in the fur lined version.

To answer BakedPotatoe's question: I'm 98% certain it's sheep lining but I have not received verification from Carmina yet. It's a natural fiber though, not synthetic.

And yes, the whole vamp and shaft is lined.

It seems like it will be a brown grain version we’re aiming for, the rest of the specs completely the same? Please e-mail [email protected] to put on the "interest list" for this model. No deposit invoices will go out until we have decided the shade of grain.

To summarize this new GMTO project:

  • Carmina model 80179 Derby boot
  • Color: brown grain (exact shade to be decided)
  • Double Commando sole with storm welt
  • Soller last
  • Fur lined
  • Visible eyelets and speed hooks
  • Prize: 3040 SEK ex VAT (approx. $450) - 50% deposit required
  • Shipping: 300 SEK worldwide (approx. $45)
  • Delivery expected : mid-March

Types of grain

Either the lighter "Camel grain" finished to a darker hue, like our Grain Jumpers:
1000

Or the "normal" dark brown grain:
1000

There is also a rougher grain called "karrengrain" that is available in dark brown:
1000

I was part of the GMTO for the Dark Cognac Jumper Boots from Carmina, but due to certain circumstances I will not be able to wear these for quite a while, so I am hoping to sell them (in a sense). If anybody is interested, it would be as if you were purchasing from Skaok directly.

Here are the details:
Boot: Carmina Jumpers
700

Color: Dark Cognac (Note: Should be similar to the above, but may not be exact)
Last: Oscar Last (I believe this fits similarly to the Forest last)
Price: Approx. $720 - excluding VAT (This could change, but I believe it is a fairly good deal relative to other Carmina retailers)
Size: 9 UK / 10 US

Please PM me for details and / or any questions.

Thanks!

Wow - those really rock.

The shell jumpers are super nice, too.

Nice spit shine!

Thank you! I didn't want to get a pair of patent leather shoes that I could only wear with a tux so I thought a well shined pair of plain toes balmorals would work equally well - both with a tux and elswwhere.
