I stopped in to the Nettleton Shop off of Pittsburgh's Market Square this week and the owner, Scott, mentioned that he will carry Carmina this fall. Expecting delivery of severl different models in October. Mostly Forest last, as I recall, but also a cognac cordovan longwing on the Detroit. That sounds pretty nice, though I have no idea how it would fit. Give him a call, perhaps. He was a pleasure to talk with.

I emailed & got a quick response. Here's what they will have:

Quote: We also have a "double-buckle" moc toe in tan calf coming--Philadelphia last; a bal wing in a rust-tan calf--Forest last; and a blucher cap-toe with a medallion in brown calf--Forest last.

The calfskin shoes will be $565 and the one cordovan style is $795.

A made-to-order Cordovan boot will be 6400 SEK (5120 SEK for clients outside the EU).
A stocked Cordovan boot will be 5300 SEK (4240 SEK for clients outside the EU).
Yes, we will ship to the US. We will carry the following models on York soles:

We'll launch the website soon, all pictures will be on there. We have not had time to shoot our Carminas yest, we're still on Edward Green and Gaziano & Girling. Carmina next week...

But these are the same models (although in the wrong colours) :
When will you begin to take MTO orders for US based customers? and what is the means of contact or otherwise to place such an order? Thanks
Apologize if I'm continuing to derail the thread.

Maybe you won't even have to go MTO, we're carying the following in Cordovan,
Wingtip Oxford on Forest last in Burgundy Cordovan
High Lace up Balmoral boot on Robert last in Cognac Cordovan
Split Toe Derby on Queens last in Saddle Cordovan
Either way you are welcome from October 11.

Are you going to stock a balmoral boot in suede/calf?

I have a question about the Carmina Uetam loafers that The Armoury has. Can anyone who has them comment on the actual color? When I do a google image search for Carmina Uetam I see about 3 different colors, and I'm pretty sure they're all the same shoe. The Armoury also has two different photos with very different colors, and from past experience I found their photos not totally accurate about color. Any idea what the color actually looks like?

Small update on my returned flawed balmorals: they don't have the same model in my size in stock, but because of the flaw they're going to specifically produce it. Nice!

They did a similar thing for me where the shoe was in the web store but not in stock. When it arrived it should have had a don't open near an open flame warning because of the fumes. It was GREAT!
