I have the Ruby cordovan from Carmina. The other one is bordeaux, which is definetely not red and more close to Alden's #8.

I just received a pair of shell "bordeaux" monks straps. Sitting right next to a pair of Alden No.8. I would say the Carmina is just a touch more "rich" or darker, but very similar to the No.8s...

Thanks! Ok, It's called Ruby Red, I managed to find this picture originally posted by someone on SF i think:

The second from left is the one I meant. Looks much redder than the burgundy

Thanks for the link but I'm not interested in the styles that are a part of that group buy.
I've been planning to get the Chelsea in the Rain last but I just saw that these Forest last Jodphur boots are on the webstore. Hard decision. Can anyone comment on the how the toe looks on the Forest last? I prefer chiselled toes but if the Forest isn't too rounded it might be ok.

Not sure if you still need an answer to this, but I have one pair of Carminas on the Forest last and I would say the toe is NOT chiseled. It is a rather high toe box, with what I guess you could call a rounded point. You can get a good look from the side in the photo of the suede boot above. Here are a couple shots of my pair.

^ Very nice. Am I correct in assuming they were MTO?
