Carmina Shoe P0rn. - Page 404

I'd fire off an email to Betty to see what the deal is regarding free shipping. TBH, Ozzy's post about it is the first time I heard about the deal.

To the US custom fees are not that "heavy", slightly above 7%. Essentially sales tax.

I'm basing it on charges for Meermin to be fair and with fedex its more the handling fees on top of the customs that's the kicker.

Yeah I emailed them an hour ago... Let's see what the deal is.

Wonder if the deal would apply to shoes not available on the online shop. Been waiting awhile for a shell cognac PTB or PT boot, but Carmina hardly updates their online shop.

Remember, it's Sunday and they are a small operation. You won't likely get a response until tomorrow.

^ heh not in any rush. + a Spanish company so a known laziness in customer service and business mentality can be expected so I'm not expecting anything for a couple of days anyways. Of course always very happy when a company differs from that cultural stereotype so let's see what happens...

Can you email them and ask them about this? Them saying yes to this would mean that I too would order something NOT in the online store... My understanding has been that one can't order shoes from Carmina outside the webshop though. Will appreciate someone correcting me if I'm wrong!

Edit: I asked them.... let's wait for the answer.

Got a reply from Betty already. They are fixing the shipping thing on Monday and if someone has placed an order today or yesterday, they will refund the cost of shipping.

Needless to say with regards to my previous comment, I have been proven wrong and am glad to stand corrected.

With the exception of Leatherfoot, Carmina eboutique, Skoaktiebolaget and Gentlemens Footwear are there any other online retailers of Carmina? I live in the UK and i'm finding it really difficult to get a pair

I am currently living in London. Just have Gentlemen's footware send them over as I found that was the easiest and they offer free shipping. But I get absolutely destroyed with VAT. They charge it on the shipping cost as well as the declared value and add a few random percent on for laughs.
