Pre orders for the Skoaktiebolaget special model 80373 in tanned calf (vegano). Please PM me or send us an e-mail at sales@skoab.se to participate.

80373 model, Rain last, leather sole, vegano tanned calf. 2720 SEK ex VAT. 25% pre order deposit. Delivery mid-October. The model has been made especially for us by José Albaladejo. Sizes UK 7-10.5 available for pre orders.

This is the same model, but without the medallion in brown calf (vegano). The new pre-order model will have a medallion.

Edit: sizing available.

I wonder why Matches.com have stopped selling Carmina shoes? I was looking forward to the new collection!

The hope the problem is not what I think. I listed a pair of EG shoes on ebay which sole in 10 minutes and when I tried to sell a pair of lightly used Carmina boots at 65 % off the price I bought them for no one was even interested in looking at them!

Depends on your size and randomness. Had a pair of Bostonians NIB no one would buy even at 70% off list. Later sold them for 30% off list.

Leather not from an animal. Tofu leather.

It's a kind of tanning. The leather gets a nice depth to it while "natur" calf is flat and more solid in color (very nice for formal dress shoes).

Thks for your responses. So you mean Vegano is just a kind of tanning and the original material is still calf?

Me too.  I had a great experience with Matches.  Maybe they'll get them again in the future...

Hello all,

I recently purchased these in a light brown calf, but now I find myself in a bit of a situation in which I have no clue how to pair these things with any of my clothes.

In other words, I'm looking for some suggestions. Dark Jeans? Light grey trousers? Medium blue suit? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

M

Grey trousers...definitely. I normally do not pair balmorals with jeans. Personal opinion. I think they are light enough to pair with navy or royal blue. I pair my whiskey colored shoes with blue.

Will look great paired with light grey, mid grey, mid blue. Color will pair nicely with most blue denims; if you like to pair oxfords with jeans is another question. I do, with less formal styles like brogues.

I've got a pair of similar colour/style meermin and I wear them with dark jeans all the time.

99% of people don't know the SF rules so if you think it looks good, and you have the confidence to wear it- do it!
