Thanks! The only arrived this morning so I haven't had a chance to wear them yet - I thought I'd share my excitement first 

 

I plan to get some metal toe taps put on them before I wear them and I'll post some pics once they've got their creases. For now though, they continue to take my breath away.

The Punched Captoe in stock at the Armoury, in black and on the Simpson last. I tried on a pair of Balmorals locally, and the sleekness had me fully torqued. The waist on those shoes are incredible!

I think this year will be the first where I can participate in Movember, my half asian genetics don't encourage facial hair growth.

Very nice. Happy to say they don't have these online in anything near my size or I'd be tempted to see if I could fit in them. Enjoy these.

By the way, does anyone with borderline wide feet have issues with the suede loafers on the Simpson last? My expectation is that the suede will give a fair bit. My feet are right on the border of medium and wide.

agreed!! they're a fantastic looking shoe!!! 

for your consideration about stretching and in particular suede.

i once talked to a shoemaker and he noticed that the shoes i wore, not suede, are a bit stretched. nothing to worry but noticeable for an expert. i assume that the chances are given that either the shape is affected and the material/construction has to "suffer."

as you already asked, it would be great, if somebody with first hand experience chimes in and my/your/our concerns get charmed away.
