I don't know. I only know that they don't have any more of the makeup in stock at Carmina IN MY SIZE! cloud.gif

Seriously, Horween does lot work 'to spec' so I'm sure they can make up just about any color if requested.

Rancourt has (does?) offer green shell beefroll penny loafers, so I think the answer is that if people want green shell, Horween can make it. Hardly seems like a difficult color to produce. You'd think that green would cover up most imperfections as well as #8, black, etc. Same with navy. Just not a lot of demand, I guess.

I had Betty try to track me down a pair.........there was one pair on the stocklist in Paris........but they couldn't find the actual shoes....................cloud.gif

She was unable to tell me if they would do a general restock of this makeup or not.

I've been on a several month 'no purchase' plan so I was feeling ok(ish) about the expenditure.

Whats the story with the VAT price ordering right from them - if its listed at 510 EU, what do they do for shipping to US?

Not sure about ordering from a Carmina store, but when ordering from the Carmina website, they deduct the VAT once you create an account with a delivery address outside the EU and charge 40 Euros for DHL shipping, per pair. That's steep, but delivery was fast. The pair I ordered arrived in less than 5 days.

imo, that's not out of place for express service. standard rates from EU to US start at € 25
