The tan tassels turned out unexpectedly nice. When I read the description in the list of incoming models a while back I dismissed them offhand.

Vamp comparison with Alden loafers

that sucks man, i had a similar experience with the alcudia last. ended up selling for loss. how did you size and what are your thoughts on this last?

I recently picked up my first pair of Carmina shoes on a business trip to Paris and am now thinking about ordering two more pairs from the E-Store. In order to avoid paying duties, do you think it would be better to place two separate orders or should I just place one order for both pairs? Or would the cost of paying 80 Euros for two shipments be more than paying duties itself?

Hit up Betty and see if you can get the shoes on the right. It's not on the e-store but it's on the website and I believe this is a photo of their stock styles.

Fortunately I can return them free of charge, went ahead and ordered the next half size up. I wear 10.5d or 9.5Uk in just about everything including the rain last so I went with my usual 9.5UK. Uetam runs short and narrow, the 9.5UK was almost exactly the same length as my 10D Alden loafers.

Good idea...thanks. Looks like the Simpson last?

So you're saying the Uetam are a half size small?  I have order a pair of 8.5UK brogues in Rain and I am thinking 8UK for the loafers.  Really liking the browns, but I'm a sucker for Navy.

All Carmina loafers come at the Uetam last, which Skoaktiebolaget calls (very) similiar to the Simpson last.

Hi Leaves

I am a TTS US9D.

I wear 8.5 in Carmina's Rain and Oscar Lasts and 8 in the Inca (Double Monk).

I am guessing I would be a 8.5 in Uetam Last...would this be more or less right?

I really like the buckle stance; the actual buckle could be improved (feels like plastic) but otherwise it's an excellent boot
