Sounds great, Frank! I'd like to throw my hat in for brown leather tassels for the loafer. Something like the G&G Nice. I'm also a fan of the way the tassels are just seen in front as opposed to the boat shoe-like threading along the sides. I'm not sure if Carmina will do something like that, but I definitely think it's worth inquiring about if the group has interest in such a thing. 

I think the grain tassels make for a nice contrast. I'm just not in love with the color of noix suede. Too yellow imo. I'd like something a bit more like these. What do people think about having a medallion btw?

- I like the idea of doing something closer to snuff suede, but I have no real problem with noix either.

- I agree with your assessment about the grain leather.

- My preference would be sans medallion.

- Maybe we should take the discussion about these MTOs to PMs so we don't clog up the thread.

I PM'd Frank about a snuff color. I'd be down for this.. 'yellow' as well though.

This will be the first case of me buying shoes I might never wear and the second case of me buying shoes that I should be considering after I have staple shoes.

It's too something (orange? saturated? I'm not a goddamn painter, why am I on trial? ). Also, roses are grey, violets are grey, my color vision is partially fucked.

Anyhow, I'm more not sold on noix then I am sold on any other particular color. As I understand it carmina has a rather extensive selection of suede, so why not try something new. I mean look at the recent grey adelaides, they turned out fantastic.

Medallion is no option. Carmina don't offer the same freedom in the MTO program as G&G for example, you can't change an existing design.

I now remember you mentioning this for our last MTO. Was this carminas response to you asking, or to skoab asking? Cause I could understand them saving that option for resellers wanting to differentiate their offerings. I also happened across the photo evidence below just recently, though their policies could have changed since the shoes in question were made.

Maybe it's unwise to float another competing MTO loafer idea, but I'd like one for late spring... what do people think about exactly this model and makeup (snuff suede string loafer on Uetam last) on single Dainite soles instead of leather soles? What do you think, Frank?
