I think theres a company called Herring (UK) that makes pretty wide shoes.

My experience with Carmina is that the Rain last is quite wide at the waist and heel.

Detroit feels bigger in the toe box but tighter in the insteap than Rain. I only have one boot in Rain and it´s in suede. I have UK7.5 in both shoes. I know i can´t wear a UK7 in Detroit, but i think i could wear a UK7 in Rain. My boot isn´t that snug after 8 month.

Guys,

We are still working on the next round Carmina MTO, so fa we have 4 people interested in it.

Dark Brown or Cognac cordovan leather
Dainite sole
Storm welt? This issue is still in discussion
Tan lining
Last? This is still in discussion.
The price would be around 4640 SEK + 300 SEK delivery charges. (Excluding VAT)

If anybody else is interested please drop me a private message so I can include you in conversation.

Thanks...very helpful insights...I think I will stick with my Rain size if I get the Detroit shoe.

Hngggg! Chung, those look incredible! Where did you pick them up?

Edit: And I love how sleek those Carminas look compared to the other shoes. Wonderful!

I got them from Betty of Carmina with a bit of luck.

Hey If you measure a tracing of your foot compared to a tracing of the sole of your feet; should the measurement of the soles waist (the narrowest part when measuring width) be a tiny bit smaller  or wider than that of your actual foot?

e.g.

Your foots waist is 7.5cm wide while the shoes waist is 6.75cm wide?

Thanks in advance!

That seems to be on the long end of the scale. I find my feet are comfortable with ~5mm smaller lasts dimensions than my foot dimensions.
