Bump- anyone have advice on or links to info on Carmina lasts? I'm close to pulling the trigger.

Edit: I did search and discovered some info on a few lasts, but no one place with comprehensive info.

Interested parties can PM me.

Question: where can I find info on how their lasts fit? They tell me that their 8.5UK = 9US, which would make them in the same sizing range as EGs.

My size 10 Monks are TTS in the UK10 sense. They fit similar to my C&J 337s maybe a little snugger but I wear a 1/2 orthotic.

The Armoury, while having a great selection, does not have near the amount as the Paris store. But then again, that is only to be expected. And minus VAT I paid under 300 Euros at the Paris store.

Have you tried them on before? I would recommend going through the Armoury in the case that you have not. Although it will likely be less expensive to go through Carmina themselves, the guys at the Armoury pride themselves on their customer service, and will help you make a better decision in regards to sizing.

My understanding was Teh Armoury has special make ups via Carmina. Stuff that wouldn't really normally be available via Carmina direct.

Oh, intent to purchase. Went from AE->Alden.. and now onto Carmina. Wonder what's next.. Gaziano & Girling? satisfied.gif

Also not sure if this one of those signs that 'I have a problem', but definitely going to plan our next family vacation to either Madrid, Paris or HK. Depending on the currency strengths at that time I suppose. Thank god those cities are easy sells for the wife.

Sizing question, for anyone who can help. I take a 10UK in the Simpson last (a good last for my narrow feet), but find the Rain in 10UK a bit loose. How does the Forest last compare to these two?

I think that forest is as wide or even wider than simpson. I have some shoes on forest and rain last en route, I can tell you how they compare in a couple of weeks.
