Age of Empires - Page 2

I always liked Starcraft better. AOE's people moved too slowly for my teenage attention span.

I loved AOE2. Favorite strategy was to build a bunch of lowbows and and army of monks ot heal them.

Not my cup of tea. Seems a little childish.

+1,

All they should do is a re-make of Age 2 with shiny new graphics, windows 7 compatability and a good online matchmaker for multiplayer games and they will have an instant best seller.

Best RTS ever made. Goths are my favourite, they produce infantry so quickly they can overwhelm anyone.

Dang. I was worried about that. The graphics make it look like it's trying to do WoW thing.... basically cartoony graphics allow for less detail, allowing more action. And I agree with Polemarch.... if they kept it the same, hell, just re-released it with online support and better graphics, (maybe a new race).... I'd buy it for 40 bucks, no problem.

I was actually talking to a friend awhile ago about the original Halo. If they rereleased that, with updated graphics, a couple new maps, and 360 online support.... I'd buy it at full price. Classics are the best.
