Winter scarf tying ideas?

Okay, pretty much everyone wears their scarves tied the parisian way - folded in half, wrapped around the neck, and pulled through. Does anyone have any other ideas? I am no good at coming up w/ a decent alternative to the french way (which DOES look good, just kind of ordinary now).

There's the bird's nest, the "Help!," the parisian, the ascot tie, the drape, and the reverse drape.

It's also a tuck away from the "Oriental" knot (the simplest from 85 Ways...), which appeals to me in terms of the confluence of neckwear.
