I always hated how damn expensive legos were, I used to fantasize about owning every Pirates and Castle themed set.

Wow, Acid, throw in the Violent Femmes and that's pretty much the collected works of Girls I (Tried To) Fuck: Edition 1992-95

I can't decide if the fact that this thread is still relevant to me even though I was born in the early 90's makes me culturally intelligent and perceptive, or a big fucking douchey motherfucker.

Mazzy Star's Fade Into You came up on pandora for me once last year and I didn't get the artist name and it took me a week to remember/figure out who sang it. Since it was the 90's I only remembered the song from the MTV Unplugged Session and movies which it was in. (but not the artist, album, since in the 90's it was usually included in some weird 90's MTV hits compilation tape/CD). Indie music and Indie Movies were so strong during the early 90's

Holy shit, loved legos. Agreed, wanted the pirate ships and massive castles. Instead, only got the sets that were under $20. Like the row boat with a canon. Sigh.

^ still better than getting mega bloks, imo...

also speaking of indie music and all that, this song has been playing in my head for the past few days- not sure if it was popular back in the day but it got a lot of airplay in my local indie/rock station...
