ITT: We are in middle school again (or early-mid 90s appreciation threak) - Page 39

^ Win on both. Saw the Verve Pipe in concert when that song came out, they were pretty good.

Robert Miles was a BIG flashback. I was vacationing in Sicily when that song came out, they were playing that at all the clubs. God damn, those were memories.

Went through this entire threak today - so excellent.

I still have all of my pogs and baseball cards...I swear they will come back and I will have an investment grade collection. I introduced pogs to my middle school and won a shitload until the school banned them (under the guide that it was gambling.)

Whoever had the Griffey collection - I think I have every one of those cards. I had/have one of those shoebox sized card cases about half filled with Griffey cards all in plastic. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I challenged myself to add some new material that I didn't see here, though it could have been in the older/removed files.

and in this thread I wish a RIP to Jani Lane of Warrant, who was found dead last night.

Warrant will play a "heaven" song in tribute to him at a concert this evening.

Spoo, +1 on memory resurrection.

The last 2 posts are a little off topic, straying a little more towards late or early 90's. I will give props to name dropping Dinosaurs ("Not the Mama!"), Kooshballs, and Captain Planet.

Was driving today and heard the following:

I just remember how random MTV was back in the early 90's... even if there was a schedule (from the local Cable tv guide) you still didn't really research through it except for possible nudity on HBO and Cinemax... if something like house of style was on and cindy crawford was possibly going to be in a bikini... then I'd just drop all my plans and sit through 30mins of the whole episode..

wow....i didn't think this thread still had legs.

I'm having some 90's nostalgia block. I'll have to go hit up the information super highway for some inspiration...
