Hello SF,

i tried to do the below as a new post, but got directed here. if you feel the below OK..please help compile a list, otherwise sorry!

I have searched styleforum, but cannot find a comprehensive "who makes what" list (just random posts in threads). If this already exists and I’ve missed it, please remove thread (and direct me if you can subside the rage).

If I’ve made errors or missed out brands (definitely have) please repost and add. Please only contribute if you have accurate sources (put source in brackets). If you don’t have an accurate source put a “(source?)” please..

Finally I’ve put this together quick if you can improve the above or below, feel free..

Dior used to be made by Caruso, as is RLBL.

If you're talking about the insole, I've seen it a few times. They usually use it mostly for their shoes made for other companies, ie 'EG for ...'.

Anybody have an idea on this shoe? I picked them up off of ebay a few years ago and have wondered about the make. There are nine nails on the toe and two sets of three nails one each side of the sole. Also the heel is set with a total of nine nails. I assume they are english as they are marked 9.5 but fit large. The only internal markings are on the tongue which are 00 2320 9 1/2.

some of those shoes are so beautiful that I would have a hard time wearing them on the street. A glass case would be more fitting.

confirmed -- as it happens, i was absent-mindedly staring at one of mine today and didn't connect the dots. on mine, at least, this tag is well hidden inside the right inside pocket and i hadn't really noticed it before.
