HOF: Labels, heels and nail patterns - Secrets to ID the maker - Page 188

Hi, new member after reading some great posts here. I bought a few pairs of NOS shoes recently and wondered if anyone can give me some info on these. I have found some info on this and other forums on McHale but thought I would post this and ask if anyone else has found more information on date of these.

These are quite formal looking and appear to have not been worn.

These are too narrow for me, but I also found a pair of triple sole cap toes that weigh about 10 pounds (wearing those!) that I will post a picture of later.

Thanks! Kameag

Here are the other ones that I am going to wear. Once again, any info on these in terms of age etc. would be appreciated!

Also picked up a pair of vintage (I think) Florsheim Imperials at the same time. Excited to start wearing these.

Can anyone help ID pants with this shred of evidence? That is the only tag anywhere. The button closure is similar to ones I've seen on Incotex, but there is no country of origin or maker tag to be found. Zegnatex? Faconnatex?

Are those the only tags? Can you show the center inside waistband?

Cross-post from the Australian Members thread. Can anyone identify the label on this Luciano Barbera suit?

Thanks.

Anyone recognize this maker?

On a pair of Brooks Brother England made shoes. Looks somewhat similar to church's but definitely not identical and I'm not finding anything to help clear it up. There is no nail pattern on the heel so that's no help.

Little help with these Brooks Brother Made in USA loafers? It's hard to see but there's a single row of nails on the heel.

Thanks.

Hi, long time lurker!

I have a pair of men's shoes, butcher style, Ligmar soles (heavy duty!) and inside is simply stamped Mario's Italy.  (size 47)

I have been through all the usual suspects - Mario's out of Italy, and their logos are very different.  I did a search Mario & Ligmar soles, no go.

They are new, very well made, and I'm stumped.

Anyone out there have any ideas?

Thanks a lot!

Those are likely older Cheaney.

I have a feeling those are made by Allen Edmonds for Brooks Brothers. The verbiage on the insoles is EXACTLY that of Allen Edmonds'.

NOTE HERE:

“Made In U.S.A. of Fine Imported Leathers”

AE has made many a shoe for BB, but here may be the ultimate proof via Dappered, where you'll note the same nail pattern shown as in your BBs.
