There are definitely two different level of made in italy, one is the purple label stuff for over 1k retail, then the other is like sub 650 at retail. The Sasetti stuff are over 1k, and usually have channeled insole

The Sassettis I've seen have a separate piece of leather on the sole saying made in Italy. The purple labels made by him also have that. I think the ones I have are the "cheaper" Italian ones. The shoes are 995 and the velvet shoes are 650.

Saw these two shoes at a thrift shop and they were constructed rather nicely and in good condition, however I couldn't make out name on the inner sole, was wondering if I could get some help here. The second two are of the same shoe.

Also has it been confirmed that this is a Caruso Label?

Thank you in advance for any help provided, it is very much appreciated.

Both of the shoes have replacement soles and heels, so not much help.
